Kookaburra Tea Towel
Laugh, kookaburra, laugh! This delightful kookaburra sits perched in an old gum tree, taking a breath in between laughs, and indeed looking like the merry, merry king of the bushes. Lovingly captured by Sydney Artist Carmen Hui, each delicate gum blossom and feather is detailed with loving care.
This sturdy linen cotton tea towel is digitally printed and made in Melbourne. Tea towel measures 48 cm wide and 68 cm tall, with a hanger tape for convenience.
About the Artist
Carmen Hui is a Sydney artist and illustrator with a keen interest in Australian flora and fauna. Drawing has been a daily joy since she was old enough to hold a pencil, and her delicate layered drawings celebrate Australiana with a playful twist.
Carmen is constantly inspired by our unique and quirky bird and animal life, but is equally celebrated for her pet portraits, capturing the character of our furry and feathered friends with a gentle nostalgic charm.

Almost too good to use. It arrived well wrapped and inside there was a small card and natural ribbon around the tea towel. This is certainly something you would love as a gift. But I'm keeping this one for myself ! It is top notch quality and so nice to support a local artist.
