About the Author

Rina Foti is a West Australian author with a degree in Early Childhood Studies and a passion for encouraging early literacy and a love of language. She is the author of five children’s books, drawing on her fascination with native Australian animals to capture young imaginations.

About the Illustrator

Sandra Kendell is a celebrated children’s book author and illustrator, who has published seven picture books for children, three of which have been named 'Notable' by The Children's Book Council of Australia. Sandra works with oils, watercolour and mixed media, blending words and images inspired by her backyard and local environment.
